STEFAN BELLOF S (STANDING)
STEFAN BELLOF S (STANDING)
Stefan Bellof S (Standing) is part of Rachael Clegg’s Nürburgring series, in which every image illustrates a story about Europe’s most treacherous, twisting, challenging racing circuit. Each image ‘recreates’ a specific event in the Nürburgring’s history at the exact spot that event happened.
The story:
This flat-out right-hander is named in honour of one of one of the Nurburgring’s heroes: Stefan Bellof. Bellof set the record for the fastest lap around the Nordschleife in 1983 in his Porsche 956. The record still stands to this day.
